The First ThanksGiving - Followed by the First Black Friday - Stretched Buck Skin - Half Off!
On This date in history, The First ThanksGiving was born. The story goes that They all wanted to give thanks for religious freedom. But the reall story is that The women were stoked because they were used to doing ALL the cooking and child rearing, any way... hmmm not much has changed. But they really invented the holiday just to get to Black Friday. They wanted their own chance to race to the local trading post at 4:00 am and fight over the last pair of buckle shoes. The men were so bored with the kids that they began throwing pine cones for them to catch. Thus, Football was born. When the women folk returned with bear skin rugs and dried and stretched animal skins at 50% off, the men all grumbled "I could have saved you 100% and just made the darn things myself. But all the women then and now know that the husbands would have NEVER gotten around to doing it. They put their efforts in building reclining chairs out of logs, and the Lazy boy was born.... Wow, not much has changed. History really does repeat itself!
