While reading the news, I came across an article stating that âA poll of 1,000 Australians found almost half said that romantic comedies have ruined their view of an ideal relationship.â I could have told you that! Go to a romantic comedy at your local theater, and watch how the women treat the men afterwards. Itâs HILARIOUS! Iâve heard âWhy didnât you put some thought into how you proposed to me?â, or âWhy canât you give me little surprises all the time?â ÂHey Ladies, these guys are actors, and they have a Team of Writers telling them what to do and say! If you donât believe me, just take a look at how successful actors are in their real-life relationships as opposed to their on-screen ones. Apparently, their leading ladies leave the theater mumbling the same frustrating questions. Luckily, you have us to help you out… take a look at our most recent additions to the gift guide.. we update it daily!

Ok, Germaphobes, here’s one less place you can safely go without being exposed to the dangers of the “unseen germy world.” Before reading this story about a bank robber, people just assumed I was a neurotic surgeon about town wearing my mask and gloves; now, I’m going to look like a man on the run. It’s like the “Unibomber” all over again when I had to stop wearing my hoodie sweatshirt and sunglasses while teaching at UC Berkley. It’s not my fault I have sensitive skin and eyes! These dudes are beginning to get on my nerves. What’s next? Are they going to take away my knit ski mask that I like to wear while driving? It helps cool down my body while keeping the air from directly blowing on my face… but I fear that it won’t be long until my cheeks begin to feel the chafe of my All-Terrain Smart Car.Look out! An evil twin fitting my description may be in a neighborhood near you!

Many World Cup fans of Germany are calling for the grilling of the Oracle Octopus who has successfully chosenÂwinner of all six of their national soccer team’s matches — including a bitter defeat to Spain on Wednesday. Get this, they put two containers of food in his tank.. one with the German flag, and one with the flag of the opposing team’s country. The container he opens first is his pick for the upcoming game. Hey, I just think it’s cool that an octopus can open a man-made plastic container. I also find it interesting that people would rather roast the oracle than the actual players that LOST THE GAME!!! Personally, I think I’ll stick to my “Real Housewives”; they fry one another on a weekly basis, anyway.

Really?!? We finally got Japan’s Hot Dog Eating Champ, Takeru “Tsunami” Kobayashi, over on U.S. soil, and now he’s already acting like an American celebrity. Due to failing “contract negotiations”, Takeru may not compete in this July 4th’s hot dog eating competition. All of this is over a contract that states he cannot enter any food eating competitions that are not approved or stipulated the organizer, International Federation of Competitive Eating, Inc. Here’s an idea…. this 4th, let’s give those hot dogs to kids for Free and treat them to fireworks shows the likes they have never seen before.Â

Japanese Divorce Ceremonies - An Amicable Solution to a Sad Ending

In reading my daily dose of “Oddly Enough” news, I ran across an article regarding divorce ceremonies. It appears that in Japan, couples celebrate divorce much like a marriage with the “I Do’s” in the presence ofÂfriends and family. After the vows, the couple smash the wedding rings with a mallet to officially finalize the divorce. We don’t judge anyone who is heading down the road for divorce, but if it’s going to happen, this seems like a good idea to us, oddly enough! The only problem we have is the ring ceremony… why smash ‘em when you can sell them on eBay?or even Craig’s List? Some things in life will forever remain a mystery.

The Proper Care and Feeding of the American Flag

http://www.dealbrothers.com/deal/detail/the_proper_care_and_feeding_of_the_american_flag/?utm_source=dealbrothers&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=rss_everything

Today is Flag Day; a day to show your patriotism by proudly waving your star-spangled banner for all to see.ÂOur flag has a proud and glorious history. It was at the lead of every battle fought by Americans. Many people have died protecting it. It even stands proudly on the surface of the moon. To properly keep your flag, take look at some suggestions:The flag is normally flown from sunrise to sunset. In the morning, raise the flag briskly. At sunset, lower it slowly. Always, raise and lower it ceremoniously. The flag should not be flown at night without a light on it.The flag should not be flown in the rain or inclement weather. After a tragedy or death, the flag is flown at half staff for 30 days. Itâs Âcalled âhalf staffâ on land ,and âhalf mastâ on a ship. When flown vertically on a pole, the stars and blue field , or âunionâ, is at the top and at the end of the pole (away from your house). The American flag is always flown at the top of the pole. Your state flag and other flags fly below it.The union is always on top. When displayed in print, the stars and blue field are always on the left.Never let your flag touch the ground, neverâperiod.Fold your flag when storing. Donât just stuff it in a drawer or box. When your flag is old and has seen Âbetter days, it is time to retire it. Old flags should be burned or buried. Please do not throw it in the trash.

I am typing this with crossed-fingers that Bret Michaels will come out ok, after his brain hemorrhage.Yes, having my fingers crossed does make it hard to type, but enough about me. I, DealSister, grew up with Hair Bands, and I’m still a die-hard head banger. It’s true that my hair will never have the luster or body that Bret Michaels or Jon Bon Jovi had, but I did use my share of Aqua Net in my day. This tragedy dispels the myth that Bret is some kind of God, as it now appears that he truly is composed of “Flesh and Blood”.Hopefully the doctors will ask him to “Open Up and Say Ah”, and bring back the lead singer of Poison that we all know and love… I guess “Every Rose does Have it’s Thorn.”It just may be a good time to buy their best sellers album; I know I will.

While Shopping for my DealWife’s Mother’s Day gift fragrance, I decided to get her a Jean Paul Gaultier parfume. ÂIf you’ve seen the torso-shaped bottle, then you would know why this fragrance is as much a gift for my as it is for her. It’s not bad to look at!Ironically, it is the bottle that also keeps me from wanting the Jean Paul Gaultier cologne for myself… I don’t really want to spray fragrance that comes from a man’s torso? I mean, I can only take manscaping so far. Shouldn’t the bottles be reversed? Please note that I have my tongue firmly rooted into my cheek as I make this argument against the packaging of this mens fragrance, however I do kind of want the matching USB that slowly emits this intoxicating scent throughout my cube!

Easter is over, and now just about everyone is left with hard-boiled Easter Eggs. Hopefully, the kids were able to find the eggs before the dogs got to them.(Last year, the DealDog found a bunch of eggs and ate them. Needless to say, we spent the holiday following the dog around with a room freshener.) Luckily, I found a site that has some pretty good Easter Egg leftover ideas, and I think I may try them. They have everything from the cliche deviled egg to fancy caviar eggs. Enjoy!

It’s a great way to start the day, and it gets the kids to eat their eggs! The Easter BunnyÂalso brings plastic eggs filled with money for the kids. Some of them have 2-dollar bills, and others contain those cool gold dollar coins.Needless to say, these eggs are a huge hit, and they keep even the older kids interested in hunting.
Ok, Nyquil worked for Apolo Ohno, but it's not working for me. I've had theÂsniffling sneezing coughing aching with stuffy head and fever, and I've gone through two bottles of Nyquil?Perhaps I shouldn't be taking extra medicine and shooting it with a jigger of Nyquil. I think I'll switch to Whiskey. My grandma always made me warm whiskey with honey and lemon... I don't remember it working, but I do remember the warmth which the amber liquid brought.I didn't necessarily get better, but at lease I didn't mind being sick anymore. =)

I just read on Yahoo news that a man was attacked by a fire extinguisher and a worcestershire sauce battle on Wednesday night. I don't know why it happened, but it sure reminds me of the chicken and the egg conundrum of which came first.... did the attacker hit the victim with the extinguisher in an attempt to stop the pain after the victim screamed... "ahhhh my eyes are burning."or did the attacker spray the victim with worcestershire sauce after the extinguisher to add a little salt to the wound. ÂWe may never know. =( At least I learned how to spell "worcestershire."

I don't know why, but there is a phenomenon that people, (or at least I) are afraid to throw away our old floppy discs. Even though someone would need a 1988 Tandy computer to read them, we hoard our discs.....just in case. Now, you can put those useless discs with 1987's tax info to work for you. Check out ShinyShiny.tv to see all the awesome crafts people have made of these discs. The makeshift rolodex caught my eye. ÂAlthough, a rolodex is pretty obsolete, as well. So, even though summer is coming to an end... get working on the "Spring Cleaning" that you've been putting off by making very unique gifts or all your friends!
We are beginning to compile a gift guide for Mother's Day, even though it's still a while off. We have learned from experience that it's better to buy a gift now than to wait until the last minute! Last year, we had to stop at the 7/11 to get a gift on the way to DealMother's house. We barely survived that holiday - it's a good thing she's not a good shot with a rolling pin!So, go ahead and browse our virtual gift store... we will be adding new gifts daily in hopes of saving your butt one holiday at a time!

How do I end up with so Many Calories at the end of the Day?

I am finishing up week one using the Go Wear Fit Calorie Management System, and while I already knew I eat a lot of calories.. I never realized how many calories I drink! Don't get me wrong, I only have the smallest glass of wine on special occasions - like when we celebrate dinner. I can now see how a couple of drinks can run all weight loss plans into the ditch... because after a couple of drinks, who cares about dieting? As a treat for all my self-denial, I bought myself a pair of skechers shape ups-Optimize Fitness Walking Shoes. They are supposed to make your muscles more tone, your posture better, and all that good stuff. ÂYes, I bought a pair just to see if they work.... So now, I'm walking around town with a strap around my arm and the orthopedic shoes from Hell. For all the stares and questions I've been fielding, I had better lose weight! If you are reading this blog and have had experience with either the GoWearFit Body Management System or the shape ups, let me know. I would love to hear your stories!

Remove your Sunglasses on Overcast Days… It’s the Law!

http://www.dealbrothers.com/deal/detail/remove_your_sunglasses_on_overcast_days..._its_the_law/?utm_source=dealbrothers&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=rss_everything

Ok, at one time or another, we've all worn our sunglasses on overcast days, at dusk, even at night. (I blame Cory Hart.. or Feldman... or which ever Cory sang that song "I Wear my Sunglasses at Night. Ironically, I could not find a photo of him actually WEARING sunglasses.Anyhow, the point I'm trying to make is... a 61 year old man was fined for having a mannequin in his car so that he could take advantage of the carpool lane.... or at least that's what he's telling the cops... and his wife. How did the law know she was a mannequin??? She was wearing her sunglasses on an overcast day. Really, the hot woman in a car with a 61-year old man should have tipped them off, not the sunglasses. =) Wow, there but for the Grace of God go I, since I never take my sunglasses off! I look so much better with half of my face hidden.See? Told ya. =) So, if you have aÂpompous passenger in your car that refuses to remove his/her glasses during an overcast day or at dusk (of all times), please be advised that you may be accused of harboring a fugitive from justice... oh if that friend is a mannequin. By the way, how come Kim Catrall never got in trouble for riding on the back of Andrew McCarthy's motorcycle? She was a mannequin! Actually, I'll bet there's more plastic on her now than in that movie.Â

Wow, Apple has rolled out it's newest magical innovation - the iPad - starting from $499. They must have Merlin locked up in their Cupertino headquarters; how do mere mortals think of this stuff? From what I've read, this little piece of magical technology is crammed with amazing applications. I have no idea how they get so much stuff onto one portable device, perhaps all new employees are issued a magic wand right along with their name badge. It has a 9.7" backlit display, and the whole thing is only .5" thick! Of course, the best thing about the iPad is that you will be able to read my blogs when the mood strikes you. Our DealFamily will always be at your fingertips, so please wash your hands every once in a while - we don't want to get sick! Because there are only 24 hours in a day, we aren't able to spend multiple days listing all the fun functions and applications, so get over to their site and check 'em out. The WiFi version becomes available in March, and the 3G version is available in April!!

The Parents’ Survivor Guide to “Teacher In Service” Days

As a retired teacher of seven years (I know that's not very many), I can appreciate the experience of "Teacher in Service" days. For those of you who aren't familiar with this term, In Service Days allow the teachers to come to school while the students get a day off. ÂIf there is one thing I learned as a teacher, it is this.... teachers make the worst students. I always regressed into a 15 year-old passing notes to my friend during the meetings.(Incidentally, I was one of those horribly mean teachers who would read the note aloud to if I caught it in class while I was teaching.)Now, as a parent of a school-age child, I find myself missing those wonderful "Teacher In-Service" days. I wonder "how the heck does his teacher keep him busy, all day? You can always tell if there has been a day off for my son by my hairdo. If he's home, I have very little, and what I have left is sticking straight out.Luckily, I have found many great games to play with my son, since he's too old for the 'ol "Let's see who can tidy up the room faster" game. One that we have fallen in love with is a card game called "Take the Train". It teaches strategy, and it's just plain fun. So, next time your cutiepie has the day off, take a look at this game. It's good, clean fun! Amazon has it for $3.99, and that's a great deal for hours of fun.Â

The DealKids are out of school this Monday to pay respect to Martin Luther King Jr. and his ideals. How many us really take the time to talk to our kids about the Man and what he was trying to do for Civil Rights? Unfortunately, at the DealHouse, I am embarrassed to admit that we never delve into this day of remembrance, nor do we give the respect due during Presidents' Day, Labor Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day....etc, etc. This year, let's talk with our kids about why we have a day off for Dr. Kings birthday. If you do not have kids, spend some time in reflection regarding this holiday. I'm not being political, rather, I'm taking more responsibility for the education of my kids for those who have come before us.

As the parent of a boy who LOVED the Diary of a Wimpy KidÂbooks, I am scrambling to find books similar to those of the great Jeff Kinney. My son has read each of the Wimpy Kid books at least 5 times, and he has completed the Do-it Yourself version, as well. ÂOne book we came across isÂDork Diaries: Tales from a Not-So-Fabulous LifeÂby Rachel Renee Russell. My son did enjoy this book, even though the mail character is a girl... needless to say, he read it in the privacy of our home, away from any of his "dude" friends at school. As soon as he completed that book, he started to read Max Quigley: Technically Not a BullyÂby James Roy, which is written in a similar way to the Wimpy Kid and Dork diaries. After he finishes the last chapters tonight, my son is eager to begin reading Just JokingÂBy Andy Griffiths. I am crossing my fingers that he enjoys this book, as there are a ton in the series.=)

I love Halloween, but it is a lot of work. Every year, I purchase more and more decorations... it looks like a morgue around here! As much as I love to decorate, I HATE finding a place to store all of my decorations... This year, my problems are solved, as I have stumbled upon Amazon's storage department. Netflix has just the medicine we need... thousands of movies at our fingertips with the Roku! Amazon.com has the Roku for $99.99, and it's a fantastic investment for the days when you are cooped up at home.
Yesterday after school, my son's teacher asked me to stay a few minutes after school. This is NEVER a good sign. It turns out that he was wandering about the classroom during independent work time. You know.... ambling over to the pencil sharpener, swaggering over to the water fountain, and slipping over to "wash his hands" in the sink. Why do children think that teachers are ignorant to their "sly" time wasters? Anyway, when the teacher asked me for my ideas, I quipped, "Is it wrong to suggest a cattle prod?"Of course, I had my tongue firmly rooted in my cheek as I suggested such a thing... I really think schools should invest in some herding dogs. =)

With a triathlete as a spouse, I decided it was time to get out from behind my computer and get my hindquarters in shape. After 5 minutes of walking, however, my toes began to really hurt. (By the way, I have a low tolerance for inconvenience.) Getting tired of hearing me complain, my husband bought me a pair of these ridiculous toe socks. Exhibit A:Much to my surprise, these socks TOTALLY worked! I can walk a good 5 miles, and my feet are completely resilient! I'm telling you, these socks are MAGIC! I know, I know... the idea of having fabric between my toes didn't thrill me, either. Now, I don't wear anything buy my Injinji socks!!!!! Although, they do look kind of funny in heels. =) Try a pair... Amazon has them for as low as $11.00. What have you got to lose? ... except a hatred of toe socks.

One of my passions is "collecting" the latest hot vacuums and steam cleaners. I say "collect" because I usually use the floor appliance a couple of times before I put it in my garage to be replaced with a "new and improved" model. Needless to say, my steam cleaner OCD went in to over drive when I saw the newÂHoover F8100900 Platinum Collection Carpet Cleaner with MaxExtract Technology. I ordered it from Amazon for $399.00, as it's the best deal I can find. I feel like a kid during December, counting down the days until Christmas....In fact, I'm gardening and walking around with muddy feet to ensure a sense of power as I sweep across the carpet. I can't wait!

Holding Video Games for Ransom - A Guide for Dealing with a 4th Grade Boy

http://www.dealbrothers.com/deal/detail/holding_video_games_for_ransom_-_a_guide_for_dealing_with_a_4th_grade_boy/?utm_source=dealbrothers&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=rss_everything

My 4th grade son is making himself a comfortable dwelling in the "I Don't Care" neighborhood when it comes to homework. I have tried everything short of severe beatings to get him to finish his work, let alone put forth his best effort. So, I have come up with a plan that just may work. My son simply drools over Wii games, so I have begun to hold them for ransom.... my demands?..... that he finish his work to the best of his ability everyday. (He's a Webelo Scout, so he knows the importance of "Doing My Best.")I have begun displaying his Wii games on top of our bookcase with the intention of bribing him to complete each homework assignment to my satisfaction. Each time he does so, he gets to choose which game comes down from the bookcase. Ever since I have implemented this barter system, homework time has been sheer bliss. (Ok, not bliss, but is has become endurable.) The latest game on the bookcase is the "My Sims Racing" game for the Wii, along with the steering wheel. I'll have to see if he earns the game by the end of the week.....

GoWear fit Lifestyle and Calorie Management System Demystifies Weight Loss!

http://www.dealbrothers.com/deal/detail/gowear_fit_lifestyle_and_calorie_management_system_179.99_delivered_-_track/?utm_source=dealbrothers&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=rss_everything

I just HAVE to mention the GoWear fit Lifestyle and Calorie Management System again! This system has allowed me to keep track of my calories, both burned and consumed, for a month now. The result?.... I have lost 10 pounds! I strap on the device..., put on my Sketcher Shape-Ups and start burning those calories!ÂIf you have tried (unsuccessfully) to lose weight and get fit in the past, like I have, this system is a great way to break the yo-yo cycle. This cycle is not only frustrating, it is also very hard on your heart! Based on the information and goals you input, this system will give you an estimated date that you will meet your goal. It tracks everything from nutritional information to calorie deficits and surpluses to your sleep patterns! I am thrilled with m results, and if you try this system, I think you will be, too! In a nutshell, The GoWear fit armband measures how many calories you burn, how many steps you take, how physically active you are, and how much sleep you're getting. There is a $6.95 a month fee for keeping track of how many calories you take in as opposed to how many you burn. It's a cool concept. Amazon has the system for $179.00 and the display for an additional $79.00. ÂShipping is Free, and you really should check it out!

Last night I travelled back to 1984 and rocked out to a Cheap Trick, Poison, and Def Leppard concert... I danced my heart out and shouted the lyrics off key under the stars. For a few hours, I was back in high school again..but this time I knew how to rock it! Yes, time has allowed some of the lyrics to escape my memory, but I don't feel bad about it, anymore. Even Joe Elliott messed up the words to "Pour Some Sugar on Me." And he was gettin' paid! The tickets may have only cost $10.00 each, but those bands performed as if we had spent $100 a seat. ÂWhat a powerful metaphor for life. No matter what you do, have a helluva time doing it... whether it be for love or money.ÂÂ

Geocaching Just Got a Bit More Challenging! - The Family that Geo Caches Together, Stays Together

How many have been Geocaching? If you haven't taken part in this modern-day hide-and-seek phenomenon, you haven't lived! If you have geocached before, then you know it can be as difficult as digging down into the earth or as time-consuming as leaving no stone unturned. If you want to get a bit more "crafty" you just have to try this Triple-Cache Container Set of camo for your cache. It comes in spray paint or assorted pre-decorated rolls of tape. If you have a GPS, get out there and scatter some caches and find a few for your self. A note of caution, this activity is EXTREMELY Âaddictive, it's great family fun.

Here's a shocker, literally.... the device named "iPosture" is a small device that you wear to keep up your posture. In fact, if you begin to slouch... it SHOCKS you! Take a look at this...apparently, you can stick it right to your skin or bra... or if you are totally fashion-challenged, it looks like you can wear it as a "stylish" pendant. I have to say, I would not be surprised to see a charred-brown spot on my chest after taking off this shocker. I did a little research on iPosture revues, and people like it! If you are so inclined.. it is going for $64.95 - a reasonable price to pay for the chronic sloucher.

Well, it's been two days since the first day of school, and my son's all smiles! According to him, his teacher is a GENIUS. (Up until now, I thought I was the genius in his life.)According to him, he gets to sit next to his best friend, and they don't talk during class! (We'll see how long THAT goes on.) I have a feeling that he and his friend will be on complete opposite sides of the room, maybe even in different classrooms. And, amazingly enough, he finds things to play at recess, even though there are no Nintendo DS lights to be found. I think I'll get him a Kindle so that he can read electronically. It would give him his electronics fix while making me feel like a good mom who supports reading! I guess I had better make sure there are kid's titles available, first!Â

As I sit in bed and type away on my laptop, my brand-new 4th grade son keeps appearing at my door, floating on the butterflies in his tummy. It seems no matter how much comfort and undertanding I offer, he drags himself to bed...as if he is pulling the wings off those butterflies. I remember those jittery feelings, but if I dared to get out of bed, my parents would simple say, "go back to bed and close your eyes until you fall asleep." I HATED that saying so much that I swore I would never say it to my own son. Believe me, I'm getting close, now.ÂThe only thought that is helping me through the night is that I'll get to take his sleepy, grouchy picture in the front yard at 8:00 am before heading out to school because I know he going to run home in the afternoon breathless with all the fun they had. Of course, I'll use my Canon Digital Rebel XSi to get each and every cavern in his furrowed brow and then every tooth in his big smile after 3:00 pm.ÂParenthood can be so sweet sometimes!

To MobileMe or Not to MobileMe; That is the Question!

Since purchasing my perfectly awesome refurbished MacBook, I started looking into ways to sync every loose strand in my outrageously cluttered life. Not only does the paper clutter get away from me, my own head fills up with all kinds of extraneous tasks that almost always get overlooked. After all, who can think in all this mess? What do you do when you get overwhelmed? You shop online, of course! While shopping Amazon, I realized that all hope was not lost. I stumbled upon MobileMe Apple's "cloud" app that claims it has the power to sync all of your calendars, contacts, mail, and much more WITHOUT having to tether your phone to your computer or write a billion notes that will end up stuck to the bottom of someone's shoe! This application promises that changes, new messages, and events are automatically synced up to the cloud and back down to all your devices, so you're always up to date. So, it I guess David Copperfield must have written this software because it sounds like magic! I'm gonna give it a whirl and get back to you. Until then, keep a tight rein on your cords; you're gonna need them!

Are Refurbished Products Damaged Goods?

http://www.dealbrothers.com/deal/detail/are_refurbished_products_damaged_goods/?utm_source=dealbrothers&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=rss_everything

In my social circle, the topic of refurbished electronics vs. new electronics has come up several times in conversation. We've even come to blows over the topic; ok, we have only arm-wrestled. Yes, I know... weâre total tech geeks. As this debate tends to be a topic of many conversations in our heads or otherwise, I started to take a closer look at the differences between the refurbished Mac items and the new ones. I have to say, Iâm one of those consumers who takes a hard look at any electronic device before I buy it, and when it comes to Apple goods, most of the time I choose a refurbished model instead of a new one. As a matter of fact the refurbished Aluminum MacBook 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo 13â laptop that I purchased Monday for $1099.00 just arrived, and it is Pristine! Here it is..  Keep in mind ârefurbishedâ usually means that the product was returned with the factory seal broken. It may or may not have been used by the customer. At any rate, all products are tested and inspected. That is not to say that some refurbished models may have a cosmetic blemish or two... but Iâve yet to find any blemishes on any refurbished Apple product.  I've included the above photo because the "Apple Certified" sticker on the back of my laptop's protective shrink wrap demonstrates that every refurbished product undergoes Apple's stringent refurbishment process prior to being offered for sale. So even if there was a previous problem, Apple has made sure that I won't be bothered by it. Also, the unit is repackaged (including appropriate manuals, cables, new boxes, etc.), as seen below.Oh, and by the way, even though each refurbished item includes the SAME 1-year limited warranty as a new item, you can purchase AppleCare to take care of you in case something does go wrong with the unit. AppleCare for a refurbished unit!! How can you beat that? Now for the savings.... Because I cannot find a new model which compares to my refurbished MacBook model on the Apple site, I turned to the Information Highway SuperStore.... Amazon. They have a new model with half of the memory for $1250.00. Thatâs $250 more than mine, and you get only 2GB of memory, instead of 4GB. Are the savings worth it for you? They are definitely worth it for me! All in all I feel that I got myself a killer deal. Isnât that whatâs most important to us? Even in a booming economy, Iâm always up for getting the most bang for my buck. Although the idea of a brand-spankinâ new piece of technology is seductive. In some cases, if the price difference and warranty are negligible between a refurb and one that is untouched by human hands, Iâm into the euphoria that a new model Brings. But when a refurbished model shows up at my door looking as good as this one, I have to admit that I do get butterflies in my stomach right before breaking the seal. So the next time you consider buying a refurbished item, take a look at the price and warranty...Itâs worth it to do a little homework. You remember homework, itâs the stuff that we spent 4 years of high school avoiding because we thought it was pointless. Now I finally see the point of it all! I really should call my old Geometry teacher.
